I am a self taught watercolor artist, but curious about many mediums and methods of expression. I focus on an experience of curiosity and play while I work.
I value beauty and visual aesthetics, not as superficial, but part of an integrated whole of experiencing life. All of my work is influenced by nature and the visual world around me. I am fascinated by shape, pattern, texture, and contrast.
In sharing my abstract work, my goal is to invoke the viewer’s creativity in their own personal interpretation. While I have my own inspirations and stories behind each work, I believe the personal reactions of each viewer is what brings my art to life.
